The Praising Place Church

Bishop Tucker comes from a strong Pentecostal heritage. He began preaching at the age of 19 and has been in full-time ministry for over 40 years. He had a successful 10 year full time evangelistic ministry that took him into various states.

Bishop Tucker serves in ministry along with his wife Janice who is also an accomplished minister. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren, who all serve alongside of them at The Praising Place Church. Together they have served as Lead Bishop of The Praising Place Church for 28 years. The Praising Place Church is proud to represent the diversity of the city of Charlotte and that is reflected by the growing congregation that comes from all walks of life and backgrounds. Part of our call is to be a melting pot church that proves everyone is welcome regardless of your race or color.
